Tell us a little bit about your past theatre experience. Ever performed at Centre Stage?
This is my fifth production with Centre Stage, after playing “TJ” in Sister Act, last season. I have gratefully been able to perform at many of our local theatres here in Greenville and across the southeast.
Tell us about your character in the show. What was your process in getting prepared for the role?
“Ghost: The Musical” is based off the hit 1990 movie with Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. What’s it like recreating such a loved story and characters?
Low key, I have never seen the movie. I heard it’s on Hulu, so that’ll change soon!
This show takes place in the 90’s, which seem to be making a huge comeback lately. What is your favorite 90’s fashion trend that is coming back today?
The bootcut jeans!! I thought I was the coolest cat in school with those jeans in high school.
Centre Stage is producing the Regional Premiere for “Ghost: The Musical”. What is it like working on and bringing a brand new show to the Upstate community?
It’s very exciting! I had the opportunity see the show on Broadway and wanted to do the show right away! The show was so technically heavy on Broadway and to see it translate on this stage is something I couldn’t miss being apart of!
Anything else you’d like our audiences to know about you?
I want to take a moment to thank Glenda for yet another opportunity with Centre Stage! She continues to challenge me and I LOVE it. I’ll be performing next in RAGTIME at Greenville Little Theatre early 2018! Come check it out!
