A struggling but optimistic writer and his beautiful Appalachian wife have just returned from their honeymoon during the final days of WWII. Their comfortable new life together is soon interrupted by a family tragedy and a choice that must be made to save their marriage.
This tender portrayal of married life, set against the background of sweeping global change, shows the best of the human spirit and its ability to overcome any and all obstacles.
The recipient of the MacLean Foundation’s “In the Spirit of America” Award, Arlene Hutton’s See Rock City stands alone as a funny, touching and universal portrayal of a young couple very much in love.
Director Benjamin P. Robinson’s cast includes Justin Walker and Tara Sweeney as the young couple, with Kelly Wallace and Mary Sparks Gray.

Friday after-show concerts!
Our Friday shows during the run of See Rock City will be followed by special 10 p.m. concert performances by Rockwell Blues, featuring Katie Martin and Joe Wehunt, two stars of our recent production of Rock ‘n Roll Heaven.
Rockwell Blues will perform August 6, 13, 20 (Friday nights only) at 10 p.m. Admission is $5 if purchased with a See Rock City ticket, or $10 if purchased alone.
Rockwell Blues … a different shade of blues.
PERFORMANCES THURSDAY-SUNDAY ONLY. Tickets for See Rock City are $25 for adults. Discounts available for seniors, students and groups.
